TIMEMASTER HAS MUCH IN STORE FOR THE P.C. USER. In addition
to the >twelve-volume UTILITY COLLECTION, we are working on
a number of things. This Disk includes two programs to give
you a kind of "sneak preview". BOOP.EXE and SLEEP.EXE both
will be included in a future >one or two disk set for WRIT-
ERS. They both come from a user-supported disk you need to
KNOW about. We are constantly searching the "public do-
main", looking for just this type of software. Here is
a short description from that disk:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Writer's Toolkit
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Writer's Toolkit is a collection of 20 executable utility programs
inspired by Kernighan & Pike's Software Tools. Most of the utilities are
filters that process txt files. These utilities include:converting lower
case to upper case & upper case to lower case, encrypting and decrypting
files etc. Each utility has a well written & concise documentation file.
The doc files give examples for each utility.
A most interesting program is MEMO.This program will display memos that
have a date the same as system date. CALENDAR displays the calendar for
any given month. You will need to have a CONFIG.SYS file that has the
command"DEVICE=ANSI.SYS"in it in order for the calendar to be displayed
correctly. CALENDAR works for dates between 1901 and 1989.
The Writer's Toolkit is user-supported with a >$15.95 registration con-
tribution requested to support further development of the software.

╚════════════CHANGEME════════════════CHANGEME════════════╝
The basic programming premise upon which TIMEMASTER(tm)is
built is the batch processing file. If you examine these
files you will see how the "building blocks" go together.
Batch & txt files are there to be changed by YOU.They are
DESIGNED TO BE SIMPLY MODIFIED AS NEEDS & DESIRES CHANGE.
CHANGING THE MAIN MENU
The MAIN MENU was designed to be CHANGED.Four xtra lines
have been left at the top for future increase within the
body.As with ALL modifications, use the MS-DOS EDLIN text
editor for making changes. Don't overlook Edlin's Trans-
fer command when revising. We will publicize your changes
in TM's"Bits & Bytes" that are brought to our attention.

Review, better yet, PRINT the different types with PrtSc.

pgms. check files needing change. We try to show you with
instructions(w/PGMSadded)how to do this. When you are in-
to revising MAIN MENU review your hard cpy sample first.

CREATING A BATCH FILE

fer command when revising.Find EXISTING batch files that
SUIT YOU---then transfer them to your newly created one.
